Abstract

In this article various types of dust created by mining activities have been discussed. Especially the dust which is formed during mechanical rock-cutting. Classification of particular kinds of dust considering its particle size, silicose content as well as inhalation level have been discussed and effect on the pneumoconiosis. Different ways of polish mining dust suppression have been presented and their efficiency regarding maximum allowed concentration (MAC) have been analyzed in the work security aspect.
