Air protection in industrial installations using dry dust collectors involves removing dust and contaminants from process air before they are released into the environment. Dry dust collectors, such as cyclones or bag filters, separate solid particles from gases, improving air quality and preventing negative effects on the environment and human health. In cyclone collectors, centrifugal force is used to separate dust particles. Dust-laden air entering the cyclone rotates, and heavier dust particles fall to the bottom, while clean air is discharged through the top. In bag filters, contaminated air passes through filter bags made of woven or non-woven fabric. Dust settles on the surface of the bags, and clean air is discharged. This article presents examples of the use of bag and cyclone filter systems in industry for air protection purposes.
