The article concerns the use of wet and dry dust collectors in dust removal installations in processing plants. During the processing and transport of energy and mineral raw materials, local emissions of dust into the atmosphere occur. Air dust may result in dangerous concentrations of coal dust due to its explosion and stone dust due to the risk of dust harmful to health. Local air dust reduction using wet and dry dust collectors ensures safe dust concentrations at workplaces. The article presents examples of dust removal installations in hard coal and rock raw material processing plants.
