Abstract

Some industrial processes constantly release dust into the air. Filter dust collection aims to remove it as close to its source as possible. The size of baghouse filter dust collectors depends on the volumetric flow of the air being purified and the type and amount of dust being captured. This article provides examples of the industrial use of dry filter dust collectors during the reloading of mineral and energy raw materials. Airborne dust can create hazardous concentrations that threaten human health and pose an explosion risk. Local dust reduction using dry dust collectors is essential in manufacturing plants to improve air quality and occupational safety.
