Use of Process Mining Techniques in an Enterprise

Abstract

Process mining is a relatively young field of research at the frontier of several disciplines, including: computational intelligence, data mining, and process modeling and analysis. The article presents the possibilities of supporting process management in an enterprise by selected process mining techniques. The essence of the process approach and process management cycle in an organization were presented. Analysis of selected process in ProM is presented, taking into account individual phases of the BPM cycle.
